Our client is currently looking to recruit Defects Reinstatement Surveyors to work on our SPEN Dig & Lay Contract in central belt Scotland.
As a Defects Reinstatement Surveyor you will be part of our Construction Team who are responsible for the backfill, reinstatement of all excavations to RAUC specification in the central belt of Scotland.
We are looking for a skilled and competent person whose has extensive experience in reinstatement at a practical level, ideally the individual has been a reinstator, or at least has practical knowledge.
As a Defects Reinstatement Surveyor your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Arrange and attend joint site meetings with both SPEN Streetworks Team and the Local Authority
- Agree/challenge the defect being proposed
- Define the work required in accordance with the RAUC specification
- Schedule the work with the Streetworks Planning Team to the appropriate resource for completion
- Ensure the works are completed as agreed
- Sign off the works as satisfactory
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- NRSWA
- Units 116 Essential (including legislation knowledge)
- RAUC Specification
- Extensive knowledge required
- Essential

- You must have the ability to plan and manage your own workload
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Rates of Pay & Conditions
- £16-18 per hour - dependant on experience
Salary:
£16.00-£18.00 per hour
