Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order Management:
- Collaborate closely with the office/site team to identify material and equipment requirements for projects.
- Assist in raising purchase orders for the procurement of necessary supplies and resources.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered items.
- Delivery Coordination:
- Manage the logistics of deliveries to construction sites, including coordinating schedules and timed deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, hauliers, and site personnel to facilitate smooth delivery operations.
- Monitor delivery progress and address any issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming deliveries and inventory levels at construction sites.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies between orders and received items.
- Assist in identifying surplus materials and coordinating their return or redistribution as necessary.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the site team as required, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist in preparing reports, purchase summaries, and other documentation related to procurement and logistics.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customerfocused approach.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management systems is advantageous.

£24,317.00-£25,307.00 per year
