Responsibilities:


  • Purchase Order Management:
  • Collaborate closely with the office/site team to identify material and equipment requirements for projects.
  • Assist in raising purchase orders for the procurement of necessary supplies and resources.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered items.
  • Delivery Coordination:
  • Manage the logistics of deliveries to construction sites, including coordinating schedules and timed deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, hauliers, and site personnel to facilitate smooth delivery operations.
  • Monitor delivery progress and address any issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming deliveries and inventory levels at construction sites.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies between orders and received items.
  • Assist in identifying surplus materials and coordinating their return or redistribution as necessary.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the site team as required, including data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Assist in preparing reports, purchase summaries, and other documentation related to procurement and logistics.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customerfocused approach.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management systems is advantageous.

Pay:
£24,317.00-£25,307.00 per year
