We are now looking for a Skilled Operator to join the production team at our Goole site working on a 24/7 shift pattern.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the production equipment, following operating procedures and operating a chemical process to ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 standards.

In addition you will provide planned and unplanned maintenance support, which will involve carrying out in-process adjustments and repairing pneumatic and mechanical equipment when necessary.

What you need:


  • An Electrical or Mechanical qualification, ideally apprentice trained with post qualification experience in an industrial (preferably chemical) environment.
  • GCSE level qualifications or equivalent.
  • A good level of computer literacy
  • Previous experience of maintenance management SAP systems.
  • Counterbalance Fork Lift License, MEWPS and PASMA certification, Siemens hardware/program experience and/or PLC/SCADA experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID
