About The Service

The Money Advice Team is a Welfare and Benefits team that assists approximately 1500 people a month identifying financial support, grants and discounts and dealing with debt.

The Team is expanding due to the demand and the essential need of people visiting the 20+ locations a week that the team are committed to attending.

About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer service skills, a high standard of Welfare benefits knowledge, strong management experience and a high standard of communication to support in the day to day running of the Money Advice Team.

The coordinator will work alongside the Advice Mentor and Money Advice manager in ensuring the smooth running of the service, making sure posts are filled and advisers are delivering a high standard of Money Advice to the 20+ locations that the team currently attend.

What We Are Looking For From You

The role will also include recording statistics and reporting back to the Money Advice Manager with information of any variations of the service which impact service delivery.

Additional information
This is a full time Temporary post until 31st March 2024.

The ability to speak other languages in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.

Evening and weekend working will be required on a rota basis.
