Description

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Head of Talent & Culture plays a key role in shaping the organization's talent management strategy, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and driving the organization's success through its people.

The role acts as a strategic partner to the Biocair leadership team and oversees all aspects of talent management, including talent acquisition, learning and talent development, employee engagement, performance management, culture transformation, and reward strategies.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Developing and executing a company talent management strategy aligned with the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Enabling global change projects and supporting organisation design and development activities relating to these.
  • Maximising the use and functionality of the respective HR technologies across the respective areas of work.
  • Managing and developing team members, building a strong, collaborative culture to deliver plans successfully making the best use of skills and interests across the team.
  • Overseeing the organization's TA process, ensuring the effective recruitment and onboarding of talent across all levels and functions.
  • Leading the L&D team to craft and implement training and development programs that cultivate a culture of continuous learning and upskilling, empowering employees to reach their full potential.
  • Developing the use of digital as a mechanism to support globally consistent, scalable learning which allows people to develop their skills and access knowledge and resources in way that suits them.
  • Ensuring our people have a voice, encouraging participation in different forums and surveys to capture and listen to this. Ensuring feedback and insights translate into tangible actions that foster employee engagement, satisfaction and retention and help create a working culture where people can thrive.
  • Driving improvements in company communications to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's mission and goals and up to date with core projects and people processes.
  • Championing agreed diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, creating a workplace where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute.
  • Implementing a robust performance management system that provides regular feedback, development opportunities, and performance recognition.
  • Establishing and articulating clear performance expectations and goals, aligning individual performance with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Establishing and overseeing robust workforce and succession planning processes, supporting career development and and ensuring the organization's sustainability and leadership continuity.
  • Overseeing the sourcing and provision of international compensation and benefits that are competitive, motivating and aligned with internal and industry standards and align with the Biocair's overall talent management strategy and business objectives.
  • Maximising engagement with and use of employee recognition platforms to celebrate employee achievements and foster a culture of appreciation.
  • Ensuring cyclical reward processes are effectively run, well communicated and adhere to budget.
  • Complying with, and implementing as required, all security policies and procedures applicable to your role and location (including Shipment, IT and Information Security).

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven strategic leadership and decisionmaking experience.
  • Expertise in organizational development, change and project management.
  • Experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a seniorlevel HR role.
  • Proven broad HR experience with a solid track record of success in developing and implementing talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement and reward strategies.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience of delivering on a range of talent initiatives across a multisite, global group is desirable.
  • Familiar with a variety of talent related technologies e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Platform and HRIS.

This opportunity is offered as a FTC running until 30th September 2024. This is ideally a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am to 17:30pm however we are open to flexible working.
