The Holiday Inn Brentford Lock nestled overlooking the scenic waterways of the Grand Union Canal.

This four-star hotel is located in west London and has been created for comfort and style and offers a warm and welcoming service to all guests.

The hotel has 6 modern meeting rooms and 134 en-suite bedrooms; it is the first in Europe to have a revolutionary open lobby concept.

With good transports link, the hotel can be easily accessed by public transport. Brentford train station is about 10 minutes' walk to the hotel.

As a Meeting & Events Coordinator, your role is to bridge the gap between sales and operations by working with both teams.

You will support the event executive by creating and updating BEOs and ensuring all event communication is delivered to stakeholders.

Your shifts will involve some evenings and weekends as well.


Key Deliverables:

  • Assist in creating and amending BEOs.
  • Contact clients for final details and payments.
  • Create contracts and take payments.
  • Create table plans, menus and other materials to make events successful.
  • Meet and greet clients on the day of their event.
  • Conduct feedback sessions with clients postevent.
  • Conduct client showarounds.

Role in our Family:


  • Responsibilities:_
  • Build relationships with clients and understand their needs.
  • Promote hotel facilities and maintain relationships with outside catering companies.
  • Identify new accounts and provide sales leads to the proactive team.
  • Keep departments and clients updated in a timely manner.
  • Communicate client requirements via the Delphi computer system to all hotel departments.
  • Attend regular briefing sessions and hotel meetings.
  • Ensure guests receive a memorable experience.
  • Anticipate guests' needs.
  • Comply with brand, hotel, and department operating standards.
  • Follow cash handling and credit procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Skills and Abilities:_
  • Strong customer awareness and focus.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work and interact well as part of a team.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
  • Experience:_
  • Previous experience in the Meeting & Events function.
