General Dynamics Mission Systems in St Leonards-on-Sea currently provide a wide range of Avionic Mission Computing Systems for a wide range Military Fast Jets, Helicopters and UAV's.

Recent success has resulted in General Dynamics developing the next generation of Advanced High Performance, Safety Critical Mission Computer Systems to meet the needs of latest platforms in development by several aircraft manufacturers.

These Mission Computing Systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft systems, sensor systems and weapon systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet the demanding operational needs of these aircraft.

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and efficient
Administrative Support to join our welcoming team. This admin role is based in the Hastings area is for 16 hours per week.

You'll be joining a supportive and inclusive team, alongside the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.


As an Administrative Support, you will perform a wide and varied range of administrative assignments, some of a confidential nature.

Typically under the general direction of Senior Management, this role performs valuable administrative support to the wider business.

In a typical week, your responsibilities could include tasks such as:

  • Organising logistics for such things as customer visits, tours, departmental all-hands sessions, team meetings and other events as required
  • Arranging tea/coffee/buffets for customer visits and internal meetings
  • Raising visitor requests in our Service Now system
  • Preparing materials for internal and external customer meetings
  • Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computerbased information
  • Providing cover on our reception desk

Qualifications:


  • The flexibility to be deployed into any part of the business
  • The ability to support staff and be an excellent team member
  • Computer skills, with good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 2 GCSE at A-C level to include English and Maths or able to clearly demonstrate an equivalent level of education through experience.

Additional Information:

This role is for 16 hours per week over Monday to Thursdays. With this role comes a salary of £8,917 - £10,880 plus benefits. (£20,900 - £25,500 full time equivalent salary)
