Scope of the role:


Working as an essential part of the manufacturing team, the manufacturing Operator will be directly manufacturing Magnetics based products in accordance with recognised industry standards to Detailed Drawings/Schedules & specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture check & follow detailed build instructions to a high degree of accuracy
  • Manufacture product in a timely manner in line with expected costed time restraints
  • Complete manufacturing tasks within a Quality Accredited environment, in accordance with both General Manufacturing and Aerospace controls.
  • The role requires a zero tolerance to defects
  • Proactive outlook on an improvements culture with a view of continuous improvement
  • Work within a zeroharm culture
  • Demonstrate safe behaviour at all times, and ensure yourself and others in your working areas are safe and not exposed to significant risk

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Essential

  • Good manual dexterity and ability to assembly intricate and sometimes fiddly components in a timely manner.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a manual assembly role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver against deadlines.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work as part of a team in order to satisfy the needs of schedules and deadlines
Desirable

  • Manufacturing Winding/Soldering/Assembly/Wiring operations in accordance with internal documents/customer drawings/schedules to recognised standards.
  • Experience in the use of ERP/Shop booking systems
  • Accreditation's in IPC 610/620 JSTD Soldering or Recognised Similar such ESA/ECSS
  • Knowledge or experience of Lean manufacturing or production techniques
  • Formal Apprenticeship

Dreaming of a better work/life balance? Our client are currently trialling a 4-day working week and during that time you can either opt in or out of the pilot.


hours of work available are:
OPT IN - Monday to Thursday 7.15am to 5.30pm.

OPT OUT - Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm/Friday 8am to 1pm
