Description

The City of York Council's corporate Business Support Service is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator.

Wenlock Terrace is an Ofsted registered children's home that supports young people aged between 11 and 17 years old. The team provide high quality residential care that provides stability and total investment to developing meaningful, sustainable relationships.

The young people Wenlock Terrace supports often struggle to build relationships and trust adults or understand and make sense of their own emotions.

This often results in them displaying behaviours of concern, either at home or in the community and putting themselves at risk.

Wenlock aims to support young people to live within their family or wider networks or, where that is not possible, either foster care or support them to develop their independence skills.

Wenlock Terrace is committed to working closely with parents, carers and other people involved, as we know that a joined up and consistent approach will lead to better outcomes.
