Your role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Laboratory Assistant to join our Manufacturing Value Stream in Glasgow.

Primarily based in the Client Cell Culture department, the post holder will perform a wide variety of routine tasks to support the day-to-day laboratory operations.

The post holder will perform a wide variety of routine tasks to support GMP laboratories. Responsibilities include housekeeping, preparation of reagents, stock control and general equipment maintenance. The job holder will work closely with other supporting functions within the company.

The ability to communicate well and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients is essential to the success of the role.


Who you are:


  • Minimum of HND in Biological Sciences or related Subject or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant compliance regulations
  • Good Standard of Communication (written and spoken English) is essential
  • Works to their own initiative to complete all assigned tasks.
  • Actively maintains a clean, tidy and safe work environment, maintaining H&S standards at all times.
  • Strong planning, organisation and interpersonal skills, as well as high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
