Description
Solutions Engineer
Our client based in Sheffield is currently looking for two Solutions Engineers.

Working closely with the sales team to prepare quotes and proposals, the Solutions Engineer will assist across all Pre-Sales activities including:


  • Demonstrations
  • Technical sales discussions
  • Technical expertise through the sales process


You will work closely with project and systems engineering teams to ensure the scope of supply is being communicated and delivered to specification.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparing quotes and proposals
  • Liaising with various Product Management teams
  • Hosting regular internal meetings
  • Agreeing and communicating realistic turnaround time for proposals
  • Creating technical writeups for system proposals
  • Detailing caveats and assumptions
  • Reviewing and commenting on tender specifications and bills of quantity
  • Writing system descriptions
  • Writing technical compliance documents

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in a technical role
  • IT Networking experience
  • Cloud SAAS experience
  • Experience in Systems Design
