Project Manager

Remote, with possible travel to Cardiff once a month - 10 months - Outside IR35

Our public sector client based in Wales is looking for a Project Manager to plan, manage and complete the closure of 2 major sites in Cardiff and relocation into a new site.

You will be the direct interface with business users and programme stakeholders andprovide updates to the Programme Manager in accordance with standard project management methodologies.

This project has strict guidelines and must be completed by September 2023.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of the delivery of the relocation project delivering the project on time and in budget.
Identify and produce required documentation and reports to agreed quality standards to support programme and project delivery.
Influence key stakeholders and maintain partnerships internally and externally; enhancing the reputation of the Programme by responding to and resolving issues raised.
Ensure appropriate governance is applied throughout the project.
Manage the relationships with external suppliers that are providing services into the project.
Manage and own the resourcing and financial profiles for the projects.

Project Manager Requirements:

Educated to Degree Level, or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
Formal accreditation in a structured Project Management methodology.
Take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution.
Manage project teams and budgets.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience managing in Waterfall and Agile delivery.
