Do you have a background in auditing and compliance and are you seeking a new job in County Durham? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative OEM recruit a Supply Chain Compliance Coordinator, and the role comes with a 24 month initial contract and a rate of £32.00 per hour - inside IR35.

As a Supply Chain Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for compliant practices within the Supply Chain function. You will identify and implement cross-department projects that contribute to improved accuracy, cost and process compliance.


This is a newly created role, and they would like someone to come in and take full ownership and be accountable for the outcomes.

Looking at current processes and make suggestions and improvements, implement their compliance knowledge.

To give you an idea of how this Supply Chain Compliance Coordinator role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Create and execute robust audit plans across the supply chain department
  • Ensure procedural documents are current, in line with corporate requirements and adhered to
  • Work across supply chain to implement robust selfauditing processes
  • Report measures and KPIs relating to compliancerelated performance targets
  • Coordinate multidepartmental teams to drive process improvements that improve inventory accuracy, cost and process compliance
  • Experience within auditing and compliance
  • General knowledge of auditing standard procedures, processing improvements
  • SOX compliance knowledge is desirable
  • Experience in identifying compliance risks
  • The ability to facilitate an improvement initiative by engaging with stakeholders and creating buyin
  • Excellent collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent attention to detaill
