Weekend Support Worker - Waking Nights

Friday and Saturday Nights 10pm - 7am (Flexible)**
Location: Frome**
Pay: £12.13 per hour

Learning Disabilities, who live in our service in Frometo enjoy an independent life.

Discovery
Support Workers do not need prior experience in
Health Care Assistant or
Social Care roles as full training is given.

Whilst 10pm may be the average bedtime in most households, the ladies and gentleman we support in Frome are singing away to Elvis Presley or the Wurzels.

Some of the ladies enjoy sitting back and relaxing whilst getting their nails painted, and another gentleman will stay up late to ensure he catches the football highlights on Match Of The Day.

The role will include ensuring the people you support are provided with the appropriate support required in line their risk assessments and support plans, whilst also carrying out a number of key allocated tasks.

Key Tasks:

Provide personal care.
Conduct housework, including cleaning and laundry.
You will keep written records, using IT systems to record daily notes, and be confident using our system's to record incidents
Use assistive technology to alert any support required
Ensure the premises is secure and safe during the night
