Main duties of the job About the roleAs part of the NHS pro Cure construction framework team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated commercial support service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation.Your focus will be providing commercial advice and support to ProCure projects across all project stakeholders, to facilitate successful outcomes. You will champion the ProCure framework, giving stakeholders direction on commercial matters ensuring best practise and governance as well as looking for opportunities to improve the framework and support upskilling of commercial acumen in the NHS. Reporting to the Head of the Construction you will act as a key adviser, doing the necessary research to evidence the appropriate direction in commercial matters.About youYou will have a deep knowledge and understanding of the construction sector. You will have experience of the ProCure framework and its contracts(NEC)and administration.An analytical thinker, you'll bring a fresh perspective to this role and have the energy and tenacity to drive change. Person Specification Knowledge/Qualification Educated to masters level or equivalent.Excellent knowledge and practice of working to leading Commercial principles, processes and practices.Strong stakeholder engagement ideally in both NHS England and Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC), and across wider Government including Cabinet Office and Crown Commercial Services.Knowledge of design and construction efficiency techniques, such as repeatability, standardisation, net zero and modern methods of construction.Skills & Experience Capability and skill to collaboratively engage within NHSE, DHSC and across wider Government including Cabinet Office and Crown Commercial Services.Recognises commercial sensitivities and keeps appropriate confidencesCompetent and confident with public presentation and speaking on a national level and chairing a number of ProCure 23 working groups to drive value added benefits and best practise to the NHSE ProCure Framework.Values & Behaviours Works well with others, is positive and helpful, listens, involves , respects and learns from the contribution of others.Demonstrable commitment to partnership working with a range of external organisations.
