An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join the post-graduate education team within the Leicester Diabetes Centre based at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

The Leicester Diabetes Centre (LDC) is a key provider of Healthcare Professional Diabetes Education, locally, nationally and internationally.

This includes academic study, continual professional development and bespoke training to support clinical care and the implementation of research findings.

Based at the Leicester General Hospital, the LDC is a collaboration between the University of Leicester and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the postgraduate education team and students.

Editing and updating content for students on the Virtual Learning Environment as directed.

Action all enquiries and queries effectively, and respond and escalate where appropriate.

Inputting data and formatting documents as required.

The post holder will support the LDC team to effectively maintain and develop post graduate education initiatives as agreed with partner organisations including University of Leicester, Key Commissioning Groups, and Commercial Partners.


Primary duties are to record basic data relating to students and providing comprehensive support to the delivery of post graduate courses.

To assist in the running of the courses and providing administration support to the
Leicester Diabetes Centre. The main duties include data entry, editing Virtual Learning Environment sites, actioning and responding to enquiries and formatting documents.
