    We are currently supporting an Energy Trading Firm in their search for a Quantitative Analyst to join their Quant Analytics group.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Development, implementation, calibration and backtesting of pricing and risk models.
    • Development of pricing tools and applications for traders.
    • Advice on methodologies for traders and structurers.

    Required Experience

    • Quantitative Analyst experience within an energy trading company or on a commodities trading desk.
    • Quantitative modelling experience including Pricing/Risk models.
    • Strong mathematical modelling skills.
    • Proficiency in C++/Python programming.

    This role will work closely with the quant analytics team to implement pricing and risk models used across Power, Renewables & Gas.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing these models, as well as advising traders and structurers on methodologies. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading energy trading firm and contribute to the development of their quantitative analytics capabilities.

    This role requires a strong understanding of quantitative analysis and mathematical modelling, as well as proficiency in C++/Python programming. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an energy trading company or on a commodities trading desk, and a proven track record of developing and implementing quantitative models.

    The quant analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex models, as well as providing advice on methodologies to traders and structurers. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
