Description

Based within the Student Administration and Support Division of the Directorate of Student Experience and Enhancement, this post will provide a range of mental health and practical support for students with disabilities experiencing emerging, complex and / or enduring mental health difficulties.

This post plays a key role in supporting disabled students with mental health difficulties and works as part of a multidisciplinary team with Student Services.


You will also work with external agencies to enhance their understanding of the needs of students with disabilities and mental health difficulties to develop effective partnerships and clear care pathways.

You will seek innovative approaches to mental health support working with academic and professional services across the University to develop a culture, which supports positive mental health.

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience.

This is a new role and you will be joining existing specialist teams to deliver innovative services to students. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of this exciting development opportunity.

This post is offered on a fixed term basis until July 2024.
