A dynamic Engineering business near Wymondham are looking to hire an experienced Customer Service Executive following an internal promotion within the team.


As an experienced Customer Service Executive, you'll be a single point of contact for nominated key customer accounts, developing customer relationships and providing an efficient and personalised customer service.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Day to day management of dedicated Accounts; providing commercial support & assisting customers with requests.
  • Preparation of quotations via CRM system for both 'one off' and annual contract buys, liaising with Product Manager & Factory Managers where appropriate.
  • Processing Customer orders and actioning order amendments via Oracle ERP system.
  • Liaising with the Technical Engineering group to formulate responses to technical enquiries from Customers.
  • Problem solving such as delivery rescheduling, rerouting of deliveries, shipping issues (such as delays, returns and pricing issues) etc.
  • Managing quality related concerns from Customers the Quality team and establishing corrective actions.
  • Processing of '_sample_' and '_data_' requests from Customers.
  • Occasionally visiting Customers, at the request of the Customer Service Supervisor.
  • Attend Trade shows and Exhibitions as and when needed.
  • Attend internal meetings and briefings as required.

What we're looking for:


  • Proven Customer Service skills, ideally from within a technical background or business.
  • Good general IT skills, with a bias towards Excel.
  • Excellent Customer Service background.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Any Oracle experience would be a massive benefit, however full training will be provided.

Working Hours:

Mon - Thurs, 8am to 4:30pm and Fri, 8am to 3:30pm
