A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a highly regarded well established firm of insurance brokers in their Newcastle office.


Main Duties:


  • Working in a friendly team handling package and SME business including shops, offices, pubs and property owners, clients holding in general 1 or 2 policies with the business.
  • Handling renewals of policies, sending out statements and checking for changes of details or any additional risks to be insured.
  • Actioning midterm amendments and adjustments, accurately ensuring client details are exact.
  • Lapsing clients and rebroking business when required.
  • Utilising in house systems effectively as well as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Use of Acturis software.
  • All new business and claims are passed on to a separate department.
