Overview:
Responsibilities:
- _
Perform Conflict Searches:_
- Conduct searches to identify potential conflicts of interest among clients and organizations.
- Efficiently handle straightforward conflict searches and maintain accurate records of the outcomes.
Continuous Monitoring:_
- Engage in ongoing monitoring of existing clients to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and identify potential risks.
Onboarding New Clients:_
- Manage a shared inbox for handling incoming requests to onboard new clients.
- Research new clients for Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements and assist in collecting necessary documents for client onboarding.
Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
Projects:
_
- Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to provide support for AML projects.
- Contribute to the development and execution of AML initiatives and enhancements.
Administrative Tasks:_
- Perform general administrative duties related to compliance and administrative functions.
- Assist with unforeseen tasks as required to ensure smooth functioning of the compliance department.
Support for Compliance:_
- Offer comprehensive administrative support for compliancerelated activities.
- Aid in keeping compliancerelated documentation, policies, and procedures up to date.
Assist in Legal Documentation:_
- Work closely with the legal team to review legal documents and draft agreements.
- Contribute to the precision and completeness of legal documents and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in compliance administration, legal support, or related roles is preferred.
- Solid understanding of conflict searches, AML regulations, and client onboarding processes.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable adapting to new software tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and document review is a plus.
