Role Purpose:
Responsible for developing and managing Commercial Real Estate Finance portfolio, and strengthening International/European/Chinese client relationships and ensuring the quality delivery of all Corporate Banking capabilities to clients.
What You'll be Doing Each Day:
- Source, develop and deliver new Commercial Real Estate Finance Transactions in bilateral or syndicate loan types that align with the bank's risk appetite
- Construct financing structure, draft termsheets and negotiate with clients;
- Prepare credit facility proposal and coordinate the facility drawdown process with all concerned parties including but not limit to different CRE asset classes, such as retail, office, industrial, hotel and data centre etc.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis with skills such as financial modelling, borrowers' and guarantors' creditworthiness assessment, UK real estate markets analysis, etc.
- Coordinate with other departments to complete KYC process including client on boarding, risk assessment, compliance checking and legal reviews;
- Monitor the financial status including credit rating, major credit events and business operations of clients
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English
- Solid Real Estate experience acquired during past work experience
- Strong credit risk analytical skills developed during the corporate banking and real estate finance work experience
- University educated with a major in finance, economics or business administration;
- Specialised knowledge of UK and Western Europe Real Estate Finance would be essential; and experience in syndicated loans, merger and acquisitions and commercial loans will be a plus.
- A successful track record in securing and retaining client accounts;
- Strong sales and relationship management experience in wholesale banking would be ideal.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to market wholesale banking products to clients;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills preferred
