2fawcett are recruiting for a credit controller to work for a well-established business based in Mansfield.

This is a centralised role working for this business where you'll certainly be kept busy You will be responsible for all areas of the Sales Ledger where you will be the main point of contact for all finance and invoice related enquires.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller

Cheque Management:

Daily collation of incoming cheques list.
Preparation of bank paying-in slips.

Sales Ledger Entry:

Accurate and timely entry of cash transactions on the sales ledger.
Marking up of retentions for comprehensive record-keeping.

Debt Collection:

Invoicing Process:

Production of manual resale invoices and employee invoices.
Generation of sales invoices, credit notes, and pro forma invoices.

Credit Control Reconciliation:

Monthly reconciliation of credit control activities.

Financial Transaction Control:

Control and posting of all received monies.
Efficient banking processes and relevant accounting transactions.

Invoice Management:

Ensure sales invoices are prepared accurately and promptly.
Timely forwarding of invoices.
