  • London/ Hertfordshire / Hybrid
Salary

  • Up to £80,000.


You will be joining a global travel organisation are looking for a Head of Data Platform to join their growing team at a critical period of transformation, and play a pivotal role in shaping their future data set-up.


This role is ideally suited to someone with a track-record of helping companies transform their data set up from legacy systems to more modern technologies.

They are based in Central London and are looking for someone to come into their office around 2 daysper week along with the rest of your team.


The role:

They're working across a range of technologies including Oracle, AWS, Informatica Cloud and Snowflake.

Their data solutions have been historically built to meet specific needs, but they're now on a journey to scale and standardise their solutions, acrossareas including data warehousing, MDM, data integration, ETL and analytics.


The responsibilities of the role are very broad, with lots of scope for the individual to redefine this as they scale up.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their experience on global programs, with a strong delivery-driven and organisational mindset.


Requirements:


  • In this role you would be joining their Technology department, and be responsible for leading their ETL and Data Engineering Teams the role is a real mix of data architecture, data strategy and technical delivery, so we are looking for someone with ahandson technical background, who has since moved into leadership roles
  • Significant experience leading on data change programmes looking at data architecture, and transforming legacy systems to modern ones.
  • Work with leadership stakeholders to define & update technology strategies for your platforms & communicate this within the company Tech & the wider business.
  • Handson technical background, and experience working with various data and integration product suites
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear passion and enthusiasm for your work.
