Salary:

Up To £30,000 with an OTE of up to £36,000 Plus company benefits with a £1,000 sign on bonus.



Full Time and Permanent: 42hrs p/w
Our Client are currently recruiting a Workshop Controller to join them at their dealership in Knaresborough.

All of their dealership staff are expertly experienced and knowledgeable about the cars that they work with, and they are always on hand to provide help and lend expertise for anything their customer needs.

About the Role:


The Workshop Controller role is one of the busiest and most important roles within the dealership, and consists of assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.

The role will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team.

You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times.


It is essential that you have previous experience of working within the Motor Trade, preferably having a Service or Senior Technician background.

This is an excellent opportunity to show us that you have an enviable and proven track record of performance. You will have exceptional communication skills and have a full, valid UK driving licence.


About You:

All you require to become a part of the team are:

  • A keen eye for attention to detail
  • Previous Workshop Controller or Vehicle Technician experience
  • Certified Level 3 Technician or Equivalent would be advantageous
  • Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
  • Experience and competency in the accurate use of IT equipment
  • Self motivation and enthusiasm
