Butler Ross have an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Manager to come and join a well-established retail and hospitality company based in Bristol, this is a brand new role within the team and they are looking for a passionate, driven and experiencedprocurement manager to join their busy company to help with the continued growth.

Duties of the Procurement Manager

  • Review current procurement plan and establish and strategic procurement plan moving forward to provide a safe and secure supplier base.
  • Leading negotiations on current contracts and any future new contracts.
  • To be proactive in supporting the brand teams with product development, including developing existing supplier's capability to meet our needs, establishing new suppliers, challenge suppliers, supporting pricing analysis, and ensuring supplier readinessfor trials periods and launches.
  • To develop a sustainable procurement agenda with our supplier base to contribute to the companies sustainability plan.
  • To support the Supply Chain Manager in identifying opportunities to improve service and reduce cost of inbound logistics from suppliers to our distribution partners sites.
Experience Required for the Procurement Manager

  • Strong commercial skills and the ability to deliver value to the business.
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to understand, and influence and ability to engage with all levels.
  • Able quick decision making and a sense of urgency, be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Influencing skills with gravitas and credibility to engage the key stakeholders across the business.
  • Previously worked in/with multisite businesses with third party suppliers. Multicategory procurement experience desirable.

Location:
Bristol, office based with weekly supplier visits.


Salary:
£55,000 -£65,000
