Our client is looking for a Training Manager to join their Training Department at their friendly office in
Mitcham.


As Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive training package that maintains and motivates a skilled workforce to be able to fulfil the needs of the business.


Main duties include:

  • Identifying training and development needs through job analysis, performance development and regular consultation with business managers and the HR department
  • Managing the training department and its employees
  • Ensuring that statutory and company training requirements are met
  • Producing an annual company training plan for all Group companies and business units
  • Managing the delivery of training and development programs to include, external and inhouse training courses, elearning and supply chain sustainability school
  • Collating and monitoring all employees' training records both electronically and manually
  • Liaising with the HR department on the recruitment of apprentices to facilitate enrolment on the appropriate courses
  • Sourcing and approving training providers
  • Exploring funding opportunities (including grants) to support learning and development
  • Coordinating the performance and development review process
  • Motivating, coaching, encouraging support and providing guidance to staff and operatives

This role offers flexible hours, with a minimum of 26 hours a week but can also be undertaken full-time.

The FTE salary of £40,000 plus excellent benefits including
