Job Description:

Department: Procurement

Salary: Up to £25,000 dependent on experience + Comprehensive benefits package

Term: 6-month fixed term contract

Location: Hybrid
  • Nelson or Southampton (minimum 3 days a week in office)

Role Overview


Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the implementation and pilot of purchasing cards, support supplier onboarding for contract due diligence, and play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a new contracts register.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Raising purchase requests for various departments using Oracle NetSuite.
  • Goods receipting purchase orders in NetSuite, maintaining accurate records of received goods.
  • Supporting colleagues on using selfservice functionality in NetSuite for purchase orders and goods receipt.
  • Providing general procurement support, including assisting in the development of new procurement processes and methodologies across Giacom.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using Oracle NetSuite or similar procurement software is preferred.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Administration experience.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Confidence in supporting the procurement function.
