The Principal and Governors of this highly successful, oversubscribed 11-16 college are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. As part of our inspirational teaching team, you'll help to nurture and support the teaching of students. You will be a valued member of your department, working alongside teachers to challenge, support and inspire students.


We are looking for an individual who has:
The patience and persistence in supporting our students to develop their independence ;
The ability to work collaboratively to secure the best outcomes for all students;
The ability to interact with students in a kind and empathic manner.

Job purpose
To provide support for students and classroom teachers, within the allocated department.


The postholder is responsible to the:
Associate Assistant Principal;
Head of Department;
Classroom Teacher.
