Established in 2006, Kopparberg has firmly established themselves as one of the leading brands amongst young adults. Famous for their fruit flavoured cider they've since penetrated additional categories in Gin, Rum and Hard Seltzers amongst others.


Operating under independent ownership the marketing team has great autonomy and is free from the constraints of major brewers and global brand departments.

As Senior Customer Marketing Manager within such a structure means you'll get great variety workingacross all products and will lead both on-trade and off-trade customer marketing.


Key will be your ability to create compelling selling stories, working with category and insights teams and delivering comms to all audiences.

You'll be the marketing lead on key customer relationships and will have an ability to engage others, with a confidentapproach to presentations and communication.

Additional responsibilities within your team will include sales support collateral and trade press advertising.


This role will suit an experienced Customer Marketing professional with experience creating and delivering marketing messages to the major multiples.

Someone from the beverages market who craves more autonomy within a fiercely independent and hugely ambitiousbrand would also thrive here.


The Role:


  • Development and delivery of both ontrade and offtrade marketing strategy including leading key customer meetings.
  • Responsible for the development of the sales messaging and tools to sell into buyers at major multiples, convenience and ontrade customers.
  • Lead customer marketing activity ensuring the through the line strategy reflects Kopparberg's bigger brand campaign ambitions.
  • Line management of a small team with multiple direct reports.
  • Work with customers to launch marketing activity including; activation, events support, sales comms, sales tools, point of sale and more.
  • Oversee planning and delivery of annual trade press advertising plan and budget.

The Person:


  • Experience developing campaigns and selling in at grocer buyer level.
  • Ability to work with category teams and insight to gather information and create sales messages.
  • Team, budget and agency management experience.
  • Confident speaker and presenter, comfortable in front of customers.
  • A passion for and interest in the Kopparberg brand and desire to grow the customer base.
  • Understanding of both ontrade and offtrade markets would be of benefit.

The Location & Flexibility:


Offering hybrid working, with typically 3 days per week in the UK Head Office based in Leeds City Centre this Senior Customer Marketing Manager job is easily commutable from cities across the UK.

There will be times spent with customers throughout the UK tooand a willingness to travel on occasions is required.
