Operating in Bredon, Tewkesbury since 1986, we are proud to work with some of the leading manufacturing organisations from both the UK and overseas.

We manufacture products for our customers who operate in Aerospace, Defence, Avionics and Communications industries using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining.

CNC machining is what we are famous for, but our team are experts in this field and with the help of our state of the art factory and equipment, we assist our customers with the production of lots of different types of products using Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor.

We are proud to have an established and family led Senior Leadership Team in place to oversee that our operations run efficiently 24 hours a day across our 2 Manufacturing sites in Bredon and Tewkesbury.

Delivery Driver / Stores Person - The role

Based at our office in Tewkesbury, we are looking for someone to join our team, helping us to deliver our products to our Customers.

Some journeys will be short distances and local and others will require driving up to 300 miles a day (not every day) in our company Volkswagen Crafter and Caddy vehicles.

Some products are heavy (up to 20kg) and so in some instances this role will be physically demanding and some days will be predominantly spent driving.

When not out delivering, this newly created position will also support our Operations team with the organisation of our stores.

We are looking for someone who is flexible because some days it will be driving and others days will involve accepting and inspecting goods inwards, un-packing boxes and preparing orders and others unloading trucks.

There is no specific hours for each task; it's just as and when jobs are required.

This position is responsible for:

Conducting deliveries safely, in a prompt and efficient manner
Maintaining good customer relations by being courteous and helpful at all times and to report any problems that may arise from goods or services supplied by the Company.
To drive the company delivery vehicle in a careful and courteous manner with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and Company Procedures and immediately notify us of any pending endorsements or prosecutions against your licence.
To keep the vehicle clean at all times and carry out daily checks on oil, water, battery, lights, tyres, fuel and report any new damage.
To carefully observe Company procedures regarding accidents and insurance claims and to report any accidents or other occurrence relating to the Company vehicle without delay.
To have due regard for Health and Safety of others whilst undertaking your duties.
To assist in the Operations team with unloading, putting stock away, picking and audit support.

You'll succeed in this role and will enjoy working with us if:

You enjoy driving and have a clean full UK driving licence
You feel comfortable driving a VW Crafter / Caddy sized vehicle
You enjoy working reasonably independently
You are a professional communicator and feel confident to represent and be the face of our company when visiting customers premises
