UCML in Wrexham is a leading provider of Utility Connections Consultancy and Project Management services to the UK construction industry working across the UK.

We are looking to recruit an additional Project Administrator to support our Project team.

There is the opportunity, for the right person, to provide advanced in-house training to enable progression to Project Coordinator level within 12 months.


Project Administrator Job Purpose:


You will be supporting the Project team on multiple construction projects providing administrative support and document and information control to ensure development sites are completed in a timely manner.


Project Administrator Job Duties:

Taking responsibility for the administration of a number of construction projects, including;

  • Liaising with internal teams and external clients and providers to gather and provide information
  • Liaise with and proactively update clients on progress
  • Assist in evaluating quotes from utility companies and requesting any clarifications and amendments
  • Assist with the hand over of projects with other internal departments
  • Maintain progress tracker for projects
  • You may occasionally be required to attend site visits with other members of your team
  • You will be expected to develop an understanding of basic technical terminology and be able to deal with simple issues which may arise within different types of project
  • Carry out filing (electronic and manual)
  • Carry out Archiving
  • Assist in training of new recruits
  • Participate in Health and Safety audits and reviews
  • Undertake training appropriate to your role as and when required
  • Demonstrate UCML's values on a daily basis


Please note, due to the complex and technical nature of this role, we are unable to offer hybrid working at this time.

Salary will be dependent upon experience
