The Role:
Our client is looking for a maintenance engineer who will support our customer and their automated warehouse.
You will provide a broad based electrical and mechanical maintenance service along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifyingways to improve the site's performance.
What you'll do:
- Autonomous maintenance activities of the automated equipment on site
- Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency
- Attend customer meetings
- Actively work with the customer to optimise the automation performance
- Coordinate all planned preventive maintenance activities with the customer
- Lead / coordinate any automation breakdowns and escalations
- Continually improve the performance of the equipment and how you work
- Comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times
What you'll need:
- 3+ years practical experience within the warehouse automated industry. However, we will also consider those from related engineering environments such as Aerospace, Automotive, FMCG and Manufacturing
- Minimum HNC / HND (or equivalent) qualification in electrical/electronic discipline or similar
- Ability to work in a time critical environment
