Who We Are

Fischer's at Baslow Hall, a family owned Restaurant with Rooms, is home to 11 luxury bedrooms and is one of Derbyshire's most decorated and awarded Restaurants.

Located on the edge of Baslow Village and surrounded by stunning countryside, the house sits in five acres of beautiful gardens and woodland.

Baslow is in the heart of the Peak District National Park and only a mile from the Chatsworth Estate.

Fischer's offers an unforgettable culinary experience, placing British and local ingredients alongside modern techniques at the core of its cuisine.

The Restaurant is encapsulated within two Dining Rooms, a 'Kitchen Bench' in the heart of the kitchen itself, and for private dining our 'Wine Room'.

What We Are Looking For

We are searching for a passionate & enthusiastic member of our Front of House team as a
Breakfast 'Supervisor' who, working alongside our Restaurant Manager, can oversee our Breakfast operation, and make sure that it is presented and delivered to the same high standards we work to during our Lunch & Dinner services, leaving our guests with a final, memorable experience before they depart.

The Role
To support colleagues and the senior management team in ensuring that guests receive the ultimate dining experience.

Duties to include;

Breakfast Setup; Check guest booking times, inspect the dining area for cleanliness, check lighting, music, temperature, and potential hazards.

Prepare Back of House area(s):

Greet and seat our guests, and take Breakfast orders.

Set & clear tables, whilst also delivering dishes throughout the service.

Maintain a positive and clear communication with our Kitchen team, whilst upholding a keen attention to detail and ensuring a smooth running service.

Post Breakfast: To ensure the dining room is fully clear ready for Lunch setup.

Back of House Duties: Ensure the potwash area and other stations are kept clean throughout and post service. Polish plates & cutlery in preparation for services later in the day.
