Our client are an established and growing company.

The role of the IT Support Manager includes overseeing all IT related operations within the business, support an IT team and to help bring the business forward through its IT business strategy.

Monday -Friday Hybrid working also available. £ £50000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting & overseeing IT staff on a daily basis and proving help/support to the team.
  • Understanding the roles of each member of the IT Team and supporting those roles where possible.
  • Ensuring all IT policies are up to date and being adhered to.
  • Maintaining the health of the internal server infrastructure.
  • Evaluating the business' IT strategy and proposing improvements where necessary or deemed beneficial to the business.
  • Overseeing and implementing improvements to the business' IT strategy.
  • To provide up to third line support for all networking components and infrastructure.
  • To provide up to third line support for all PC and server hardware, storage, virtual servers and all server software for the business.
  • To provide support and maintenance for IP telephony, integrating with LAN infrastructure or where necessary managing telephone systems in line with office requirements.
  • Ensuring IT Software/Hardware assets are properly documented.
  • Ensuring regular backup procedures and disaster recovery policies are maintained and reviewed.

  • You will be given the tools necessary to perform your job role and any materials required to keep the business running smoothly.
  • You will be given support towards personal training and certification, in the form of structured IT courses and certification relating to your job role as part of a Personal Development Plan.
