We have some exciting opportunities for people to join the Wandsworth and Richmond team as Rough Sleeper Engagement Workers.

Our aim is to use a trauma informed approach to support people experiencing homelessness in the community who have substance misuse needs; providing them with harm reduction advice and support and linking them into the treatment pathway.

The service also provides essential training and support to other service providers to improve knowledge and service provision relevant to our client group.

Working as part of the drug service you will play a vital role in providing the link to core substance use services.

You will work in the community while overseeing a caseload of clients and work with people individually to assess their needs and link them with community services to encourage people into treatment and recovery support.
Delivering personalised case management; you will work closely with Outreach teams including Spear Street Outreach service to achieve identified goals.

You will have great communication skills and experience of working effectively with others.
Ability to encourage and build positive relationships with clients in active use of substances.
