Our client is a multi billion dollar turnover company within the Aerospace, Automotive and Construction industries, employing over 15000 staff across 40 countries with over 90 manufacturing sites across the globe.

They are looking for 3 new team members to join their operation in LE4 in Leicester to work rotating shifts of AM/PM/NIGHTS.

Job Roles:

Rubber Injection Moulding,
Rubber Conventional Moulding,
Product Cleaning,
Complex machining,
Complex assembly and advanced part manipulation,
Metal Preparation,
Compound Mixing

Verification of products (Testing and measurement process):

Education and Experience:

Previously worked in a team-based environment.
Awareness of health and safety issues within a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to measured day work within manufacturing environment.
Awareness and experience of working within a Quality Culture.
Basic Literacy qualifications - GCSE / O Level or equivalent.
Basic numerical qualifications - GCSE / O Level or equivalent.

Competences:

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to share ideas within a continuous improvement environment to achieve a common goal.
Organisational skills.
Team player who can display a pro-active attitude.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

Ensure that housekeeping and cleanliness of the storage areas are maintained according to 5S standards.

To work flexibly and respond to the changing demands, will be required to work in other areas as and when required.

Contribute ideas and help to implement change within a continual improvement environment.
Ensure the working environment and practices meet the Health and Safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, at times without supervision.

Pay & Shift Allowance Rates:

Starting pay rate is £10.02 rising to £11.78 after training period.

Overtime is paid at time and a third after 38 hours and up to 40 hours.

Time and a half after 40 hours and all hours on Saturday.

Double time on Sunday.

In addition to these pay rates there are weekly shift allowances on top payable from your first week.

AM is £45.47

PM is £59.30

NIGHTSHIFT is £98.83
