Marketing and Events Administrator
Part-time role hours (3 days equivalent) per week, flexible hours

£12-15K (FTE £22-25K) depending on experience
Holiday: 15 days plus public holiday allowance
Composites UK is the Trade Association representing the UK Composites Industry. We are a growing organisation supporting an exciting and rapidly evolving industry.
We are now looking to recruit a Marketing and Events Administrator to support the Communications and Events Managers and Board of Directors.
As a busy Trade Association, the role will require someone capable of working independently.On-the-job training will be provided as will identification of any necessary training to ensure the individual develops within the role.
There is potential to develop the role as the Trade Association continues to grow.The role will involve assisting with marketing and events activities and will report primarily to the Communications Manager.
Key aspects of the job will include:
Marketing support
- Produce and schedule posts on LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Produce and schedule event mailings, industry newsletter and member bulletins.
- Maintain mailing list add/remove members from relevant lists.
- Create and update database profiles for companies.
- Update pages on the website and creating website logins as required.
Event support
- Record event registrations to the master spreadsheet.
- Preevent support, preparing badges, event information pack and delegate packs.
- Invoice for events and exhibitions.
- Postevent prep of feedback survey and presentations for sharing with delegates.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to handle these tasks but need not necessarily have experience in all aspects of the role.
Key skills:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Efficient, organised and thorough approach to work
- Good at juggling tasks and prioritising
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to take initiative
