Job summary:

  • The work we do at FCDO Services (formally FCO Services) is hugely varied and often of national importance. Join us, in this key role, and you can help ensure we have the skilled people we need to meet the everchanging security challenges our clients face.

Job description:

  • Keep our apprenticeship schemes running smoothly
  • This key role involves providing highquality administrative support to an Assistant Apprenticeship Manager and two Apprenticeship Managers and occasionally help other colleagues within the wider HR team when required. Your focus will be on producing accurate management information, organising events and assisting with finance and levy management. You will also get involved with the design of new programmes that meet our evolving needs, participate in apprenticeship recruitment campaigns, and act as a role model for them when they join.
  • Take your project management skills to the next level
  • With strong organisational and planning skills, and good knowledge of Excel, you will be able to track finances across schemes and prepare key information needed for levy audits. The role involves liaising with individuals inside and outside FCDO Services, including apprentices themselves, so you'll need to be a confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with all kinds of people. You'll assist in the design and delivery of assessment centres and recruitment fairs.
  • And see your career grow and grow
  • The work we do at FCDO Services makes every job a significant one. Yours included. In return for helping us recruit and develop a new generation of talent, we can help you develop your career too. We offer excellent training opportunities along with the chance to continue building your experience on other projects. Although initially a fixedterm role, it may subsequently be offered on a permanent basis. In which case, there would be opportunities for career development and progression.
  • There is a pay award pending which is currently being negotiated with the Trades Unions. It's proposed as part of the offer that our pay ranges will be adjusted with salary mínima's being uplifted by between 4.5% and 8.6% depending on grade. Details will be confirmed once the pay award is agreed.
  • It takes a diverse team to protect a diverse world.
  • The vital work we do takes an incredible community of colleagues, with different skills, backgrounds, cultures and identities. We support every individual, so that you always know you're welcome and valued. It's what makes us a Disability Confident employer. And why we're recognised as a 'Carer Confident' workplace. And it's how you know you're joining an inspiring, inclusive organisation.
