AMAT have been ever present in the homeless sector offering supported accommodation to the people in Kent, and we are currently looking to recruit a Housing Support Worker to join our amazing team
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), with shifts between 8.30am and 9.00pm. Whilst this role is generally Monday - Friday, weekends may be required on occasion.

The focus of this position is to provide combined support and housing management to AMAT Residents in Maidstone.

This will include support tasks such as developing person centred support plans and risk assessments with your allocated service users, carrying out and documenting support meetings and providing support to service users, and liaising with other services and agencies.

The role also includes housing tasks such as carrying out daily house checks to ensure properties are safe and functional, collecting shortfall payments, addressing antisocial behaviour or any issues in the house in a timely manner, and reporting maintenance jobs required that are outside of your ability.


At AMAT, we are focused on delivering the best service we can to our service users, and operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year service in order to achieve this.

As such, you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays (including Christmas and new year) on a rota basis, therefore flexibility is key to this role
