_10 hours per week (with the possibility of increasing in the future)_- £22, £23,920.00 _per annum pro rata salary (based on a 40 hour week)_

Brookstone Creative are a first-class design and marketing agency, we've built an enviable reputation providing online marketing, web design, SEO and graphic design services to a multitude of clients.
We are continuing to grow and as a result, we are now seeking to recruit the talents of a confident accounts assistant to join our friendly team.
The working days for this role are Tuesday & Thursday each week (5 hours per day).
The role:
Main responsibilities include:
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Journaling accounts
- Raising invoices and processing
- Chasing overdue accounts receivables
- Scheduling customer annual renewals, invoicing & processing accordingly
- Completing tax forms and VAT returns
- Managing monthly budget, cashflow, profit and loss spreadsheets
- Paying regular bills for the company
- Calculating and sending payments to HMRC
- Monthly Payroll inclusive of PAYE year end
- Preparing monthly accounts & reports for the monthly management meetings.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as may required
The ideal person:
Will have at least 2+ years accounts experience
- Selfmotivated, organised and used to managing own day and a variety of tasks at once.
- IT Skills: You should be proficient in Sage, Xero & Excel.
