Driveline GB Ltd is a well-established business which has been trading for almost 30 years, providing transport related services to the whole of Cornwall and SW Devon.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service across our various departments, Vehicle Rental, Driver Training, Commercial Garage and Bodyshop.
At our head office in St Austell we are looking an engineering department stock storeman on a full-time basis.Key Roles & Responsibilities Include:
- Manage goods in, stock, returns and warranties.
- Update daily stock records and maintain upkeep of stores organisation. Performing sectioned monthly stocktakes and resolving discrepancies if any
- Working alongside workshop mechanical team for parts ordering and requirements. Ordering parts and stock as required with suppliers.
- Cost control for parts including comparing cost between suppliers.
- Processing of delivery notes, purchase invoices, returns notes/stock returns and credit notes.
- General assistance on administrative tasks within the department.
- Additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Previous workshop based experience is preferred but not essential.
Salary:
£11.50 per hour
