In a nutshell


Come and join us as a Resource Planning Coordinator - you will ensure that our trained employee supply meets forecasted demand on a consistent basis, to ensure that the Airports and Clubhouse teams meet service level objectives at an appropriate cost, whilst delighting our Passengers.


  • You will be a part of our Customer and Operations team that provide timely data, as well as drive accurate direction on reasons for variances between plan and actual building in continuous improvement processes into future workforce planning models. In addition, you will be responsible for the accurate scheduling of airport employees, driving a balance between Customer demand and employee availability, to maintain acceptable engagement and worklife balance requirements to achieve low absence and attrition results.
Day to day

  • Providing leadership through best practice capacity planning processes, ensuring that individuals and team are provided with adequate training and support.
  • Accurately analyse historical planning KPI's and recommend assumptions to be used for future plans, obtaining agreement and sign off from all relevant Stakeholders to create concept of a "shared plan".
  • Convert forecast and KPI's into resource models, identifying demand and supply trends to feed into capacity planning models.
  • Ensure that employee attrition and recruitment assumptions are built into plan, allowing for adequate time for recruitment where required.
  • Produce "whatif" scenarios to model impact of demand or supply changes where required.
  • Create plans which ensures FTE Supply meets operational demand consistently and within budget, with known barriers to success flagged in time to react.
  • Work with Operational partners to close off any capacity gaps, using predetermined contingency actions.
  • Build schedules to provide adequate levels of cover, regardless of work activity, location and time, to deliver service level targets consistently and within budget.
  • Tracking all KPI's against and provide accurate and factbased commentary on reasons for performance, variances from plan and provide recommendations to reduce or adapt plans to delivery results within budget.
  • Maintaining excellent and effective working relationships with key Stakeholders including directly supported employees, airport management and partners including Marketing, HR, Finance and facilities.
About you

You will have experience in Resource/Capacity/Workforce Planning practices and procedures in Airport environments across various channels. With previous user experience and good working knowledge of Genesys/Quintiq or other WFM platforms. You will also be a comfortable user of excel and Power BI.

You will have demonstrable examples of maintaining excellent working relationships with Stakeholders and Peers to convey complex messages and themes in a way that will engage others and drive understanding and consensus.

As this role requires some airside exposure, you will need to be able to complete relevant checks to obtain access.
