Regulatory Officer - Beauty

Are you an experienced Cosmetics Regulatory professional? Looking for a new role in which you can gain vast experience to enhance your current skill-set? Simpson Judge are working with a leading cosmetic company that're a true leader in their field They create innovative, on-trend beauty products to suit a wide audience across the UK and the globe.


Key Duties:


  • General regulatory duties e.g. creating INCI lists, uploading products to the CPNP and UK portal, manage and review artwork, claims substantiation
  • Ensure the company has achieved specific certifications e.g. Leaping Bunny, Vegan society, Halal certification etc.
  • Liaise with raw material suppliers and request relevant technical documentation to ensure compliance
  • Update and maintain internal database
  • Ensure all new products comply with relevant regulations and align with internal policies
  • Check artwork/packaging and ensure it complies with formulations, certification markings, claims, warnings and other information
  • Monitor market trends and research publications
  • Keep abreast of latest Regulatory changes within the territories this brand sells within

Key Requirements:


  • Previous experience of Regulatory within the Beauty industry
  • A true passion for the beauty industry
  • A degree in a Scientific field
  • Great organisation and communication skills
