An excellent opportunity has arisen at
Alwoodley Golf a for two committed and enthusiastic
Assistant Greenkeeper's to join our existing Greens team.


Founded in 1907 by Dr Allister Mackenzie, our championship Heathland golf course plays host to many R&A and England golf major events.

It is a private member 18-hole course and is highly accessible being situated 5 miles north of Leeds city centre just of the A61.


The Role:


  • Full time position 40 hours per week within a flexible work pattern.
  • Weekend/Bank Holiday work on a rota basis paid as additional overtime.
  • 20 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • Contributory Pension Scheme.
  • BIGGA subscription.
  • Training and Development opportunities.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent sports turf qualification.
  • 2 years' green keeping experience.
  • Ability to work under health and safely regulation.
  • Good time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but who can work under their own initiative.
  • Salary is Dependent on Qualifications and Experience.
