PA to Hospital Director and Chief Operating Officer
Contract:
Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, between 9.00am-5.00pm (occasional flexibility is required)
Salary range between £30,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependant on experience
Location:
Maidstone (occasional travel to other sites will be required)
KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we have a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced PA to provide efficient and responsive administrative, organisational, and logístical support to our Hospital Director and Chief Operating Officer.
You will handle a range of responsibilities daily with a positive outlook supporting them to manage and prioritise their time.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Ownership of document preparation for senior level meetings, drafting agendas, taking minutes and following up actions as required. Complete ad hoc research on behalf of the Hospital Director and COO.
- Ensure Hospital Director and COO's diary commitments, papers, and travel arrangements are managed effectively and troubleshooting problems. Coordinate travel arrangements, including preparation of itineraries.
- Conduct regular planning & diary meetings with the Hospital Director and COO to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests.
- As directed, on behalf of the HD and COO, schedule regular & ad hoc meetings between Hospital Director and direct reports and other committees and groups to which HD and COO are members.
- Coordination and support of adhoc projects as required.
Person Specification:
- Be educated to GCSE level with 5 GCSEs grade 4 and above including Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to adapt communication style and tone to meet the needs of the audience
- Demonstrates high standards of integrity, honesty and discretion
- Treats everyone with dignity and respect, ensuring confidentiality is maintained
- Have a flexible approach to work and 'can do' attitude
