Based in either London or Guildford, this is an exciting business development opportunity with a fantastic remit in a leading law firm.

Joining a specialist team, the Business Development Manager will enjoy working with some of the industry leaders in theirrespective areas.


The scope of this business development role is very appealing as it encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing and involves a high degree of involvement with partners and associates.

You will lead business development and marketing activitiesfor the firm's Real Estate business in a way which promotes the group's profile, develops key account relationships and enables revenue growth.

The role holder will report to and work in collaboration with the Senior Business Development Manager for Projects& Construction and Real Estate.

In order to advance the groups business development strategy, you will need to balance autonomy and coordination with the Senior Business Development Manager to identify opportunities and set, manage and deliver the group'splan.

The successful applicant will be a key member of the UK Business Development Team, managing and contributing to the collaborative development and pursuit of clients with a digital first ethos.

Proactive communication and alignment with the Real Estatepartners will also be vital to ensure everyone is on board and moving in the right direction.

The Business Development Manager will lead pitches of strategic importance, ensuring go/no go evaluation and pitch reviews are completed and facilitating access topitch best practice tools and content and will be heavily involved in activities ensuring the retention of existing clients and expansion of relationships to other offices and practices.

You will also be responsible for originating and coordinating high valuemarketing and communications activity, making use of all marketing channels, and will support the legal directories process including research and content management tasks.
