Navigators is a dynamic Alternative Education Provider based in Salford & Manchester, working with the most vulnerable children to support their academic and social development.
We are currently looking for a committed and reliable Transport Assistant to support in all areas of the school day.
As a Transport Assistant your role will be to accompany the driver where students are present and be responsible for student and staff safety during all transport journey's.
You will also be required to liaise with parents, carers and students on daily arrangements, including when a student may not be in school and to support your driver in planning changes to the daily transport plan.
It is extremely important to create a calm and enjoyable environment whilst on the transport journey's, given the vulnerability of some of the students.
You may not have previous experience as a Transport Assistant and that's ok We are looking for people who are empathetic, caring, reliable and friendly and who share our values - could this be you?The post holder will report to the Head of Centre.
