Overview

Principal Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify gaps and areas for improvement in our health and safety practices.
  • Develop and implement updated health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols in line with current regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure all health and safety records and documentation are accurate, uptodate, and easily accessible.
  • Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and employees on health and safety matters.
  • Compilation and maintenance of H&S Management Systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate health and safety training sessions and workshops for employees.
  • Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and industry standards and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.

About your Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detailoriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • NEBOSH or similar certification in health and safety is required
