About The Role:


We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen, based at our state-of-the art Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber.

The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:30-15:00.


Main responsibilities:


  • Dealing with the replenishment of vending machines across both sites in Barton.
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained for the vending machines by liaising with suppliers and regularly checking stock levels.
  • Basic preparation, serving and handling of food in the canteen when required
  • Keeping the workstation tidy, includes clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness
  • Being part of the cleaning rota on a weekly basis

About You:


Desired Skills and Knowledge:


  • Driving license is essential to travel between sites
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to cover other members of staff due to holidays, sickness etc
  • Interest and knowledge of food
  • Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment
